The solid, heavy base is built with no metal fasteners—no screws or nails. Only traditional drawbore mortise and tenon joinery and glue. This ensures that short of dropping this table from an upper story window, it’s never coming apart! The table top is built with real breadboard ends—nothing fake here. The breadboard ends give the table a wonderful, classic look, while ensuring that the top will remain flat…forever.
